Highland Aborigine Constituency

The Highland Aborigine constituency is a multi-member constituency of the Legislative Yuan. Taiwanese indigenous people have elected representatives to reserved legislative seats since the 1970s. Predecessors to both the Highland and Lowland Aborigine districts were established in 1994. Since 2008, the Highland Taiwanese indigenous elect three members to the Legislative Yuan.

Hsinchu County electoral constituencies consist of 2 single-member constituencies, each represented by a member of the Republic of China Legislative Yuan. From the 2020 legislative election onwards, the number of Hsinchu Countys seats was increased to 2 due to the countys increase in population, as it exceeded the 315.019 average for each constituency.

                                               

Legislative Yuan constituencies in Kaohsiung City

Kaohsiung Citys legislative districts consist of 8 single-member constituencies, each represented by a member of the Republic of China Legislative Yuan. From the 2020 election onwards, the number of Kaohsiungs seats was decreased from 9 to 8. This mandatory redistricting eliminated Kaohsiung City Constituency 9, and separated the previous Kaohsiung City Constituency 5 into three parts: West Sanmin to the new Kaohsiung City Constituency 5, Gushan and Yancheng to the new Kaohsiung City Constituency 6, and Cijin to the new Kaohsiung City Constituency 8.

Pingtung County legislative districts consist of 2 single-member constituencies, each represented by a member of the Republic of China Legislative Yuan. From the 2020 legislative election onwards, the number of Pingtungs seats was decreased from 3 to 2. This mandatory redistricting eliminated Pingtung Constituency 3, splitting the original Pingtung Constituency 2 among the two remaining constituencies.

Miaoli County Constituency I includes townships along the coast of Miaoli. The district was created in 2008, when all local constituencies of the Legislative Yuan were reorganized to become single-member districts.

Yilan County is represented in the Legislative Yuan since 2008 by one at-large single-member constituency. With an electorate of 357.077 persons in 2016, it is the least-represented constituency since the split of Hsinchu County Constituency.
